  Confirmed my order 3 times and still got it wrong... it was only a mixed kebab.. should be easy enough... food is great despite being wrong!

  Huge THUMBS DOWN to Oya's Turkish Kitchen in Fountain Court, Bendigo. Every time I go in there, I'm met with the worst customer service i've ever experienced. Staff are rude, often arguing amongst each other. The son of the owner has once avoided serving me to watch a video on his phone. Today's experience was that I was completely ignored by the owner upon entering the store (I literally had to stop in order to let her past me... she didn't even make eye contact). While I was in there, another couple walked in and asked if they could pay with card. They were then told that it was cash only and subsequently left. As I was walking out of the restaurant at the same time, I suggested that they go around the corner to Lady Sultan Turkish Take-Away who do take card and will offer you a friendly experience. On another ocassion I went there, I watched the grandfather chase their family dog around the entrance of the Bendigo bank building yelling and swearing for it to resume it's occupancy at the front door of the shop. It was quite a spectacle as all the people having lunch in the court as well as eating outside of the Exchange were watching and laughing. Just a joke of a restaurant and I personally will be opting to walk a little further to get any future kebabs. Lastly, can anyone explain why a store would limit their transactions to cash only? If it's fee based, surely you apply a surcharge like every other vendor in the known universe. Not sure what they'll do when cash is removed altogether from circulation.
